Agile New England is looking for somebody non-technical to help with the monthly maintenance of our new website. You will be fully trained so you do not need previous experience with WordPress – the application driving the site. If you are comfortable using a word processing application and importing images into a document, you have most of the skills you will need.
Some tasks include:
- Create new posts for speakers each month by copying/pasting and uploading images.
- Edit existing posts by changing dates and marking different checkboxes after each month’s meeting.
- Create new Zoom meetings by copying a template and changing date, name, and description information.
- Make simple image edits for meetings with multiple speakers. (The tool to do this is free and you will be trained to do this easy task.)
You will work very closely with the web team and can grow to learn more about WordPress and site editing as you gain comfort with the tool.
This position will take approximately 2 hours per month once you are trained. Training time will vary given your comfort level with WordPress. Written instructions will be provided for all tasks.
