Agile For Executives (A4E)
Agile for Executives is a program founded by Agile New England in 2012 by Steve Anthony and Nancy Van Schooenderwoert. Our purpose is to reach managers and executives with a message about Agile from their peers. We spotlight speakers who are themselves executives with first-hand experience implementing Agile programs. Their experience gives them a unique perspective valuable to our target audience of people at the Director level and up, although A4E events are open to all.
Past speakers include:
- Don Woodlock, VP, GE Healthcare
- Doug Kirkpatrick, author of The No-Limits Enterprise
- Rich Sheridan, author of Joy, Inc. and CEO of Menlo Innovations
- In 2021 we hosted Julian Wilson and Andrew Holm in a series of six online seminars based on their book 500% How Two Pioneers Transformed Productivity, the story of how they gave employees full autonomy and made their company completely self-managing.
Our goal is to hold at least one A4E event each year. We are always interested in suggestions of possible speakers. If you want to know more about volunteering on the A4E team, please contact Nancy V at agileforexecutives@agilenewengland.org.
