Agile Beyond Engineering: Transforming an Advertising Agency

When Vistaprint transformed its software development teams to Agile, the bottleneck shifted to Creative (the company’s in-house advertising agency). Could Agile work for a marketing group? This presentation will explore the challenges of bringing Agile to a marketing organization. It will describe the engagement model of the Agile coaches at Vistaprint, and explain how they applied the Agile Marketing Values and Principles and combined in-depth training, embedded coaching, big visible boards, and a focus on the Agile mindset.It will also review the outcomes, including reduced lead times, soaring on-time delivery rates, and eliminating late night and weekend work.
